Immigration Gates
Immigration Gates are Speed Gates that are Flap/Swing Type pedestrian Gates. These types of pedestrian Gates are Half man height with two cabinets forming an aisle. These cabinets that aid in forming an aisle are much longer than the gates that are deployed for simple access control applications. The Gates could be up to 2000mm long usually for unidirectional operation only. These gates have two sets of door panels for authenticating and processing of travellers. The first set of door panels allow access and secure the traveller by closing behind him providing a hold area where the traveller engages in the process of authenticating himself using passport and other related documents for the purpose of immigration formalities and another set of door panels that shall offer passage only after completion of the immigration formalities. These blocking panels in the middle of the lane may either swing, slide, retract in an arc into the system for the open and close movement for the travellers access into & out of the system.
Application
As the name suggests these gates are deployed at the airport for immigration purposes to check and allow only authorised travellers.
Integration
They may be integrated with varied authorisation protocols viz. Proximity Card; Bar Code of Boarding Cards; QR Code; Varied Bio-metric & Camera based authenticating devices etc. however, the primary document for access being the passport. It is government that may directly or through its vendor deploy the system for authentication. The Gates system van be offered by REVROY and integrated in accordance to the demands of the Government.
Drive System
They are offered with 2 sets of motors for the opening and closing movement of the blocking panels at the far end of the system, with the authenticating system located in the middle of the cabinet for the purpose of immigration checks.
